Vertex was approached by a new company to help with development of a new and innovative Wellness Mask utilising LED lights, Infrared lights, with north and south electromagnetic fields.
The objectives were to design a mask to fit 80% of female faces, and to incorporate strategically placed acupressure points to touch the face. The points also act as magnifying lenses for the LED inside the mask to have a greater effect when treating the user.

The CAD modeling of this amorphic-designed mask was a great challenge and Vertex engineers used surface and solid modeling tricks to make it happen. Our electrical engineering challenge in this project was to design a paper-thin circuit board to hold all the electronics and to ensure it would fold at the right place to fit into a ¼” thick double wall mask.
