BuildingLink second challenge to design an iButton reader for use by administrative personal.
The KeyLink System is a complete electronic key security hardware/software solution to organize sets of keys, prevent unauthorized access, and provide a fully-documented audit trail of all key activities.

This iButton reader was design in order to give the building management and maintenance personal the ability to carry multiple key tags and identify each key by reading the data on the spot. Once the iButton is read, the information about the apartment is displayed on the local screen.

Vertex’s responsibility was for the complete hardware electrical and firmware design & engineering.
