Vain Harvester Surgical Instrument
Vertex was commissioned to work on the medical product design of the Direct View Retractor (DVR). It is an illuminated, hands-free device permitting direct visualization of the saphenous vein and its branches. Doctors use the instrument during dissection to facilitate traumatic harvesting.
