It was quite intimidating the first time. Before me stood a garbled collection of what looked like electro-mechanical equipment that would, theoretically, perform a specific function as outlined by my client and customer. Behind me, I hear what starts as a distant murmur slowly morphing into the customer talking to me about the machine and its eventual function.
16 years from our first day operating as a design and engineering firm, we looked back and collected some data and statistics about ourselves, our past and current clients, and our design and product development programs. This is what we came up with.
Several times in the past, a potential client came to us and presented their new product, which they would like us to design, engineer, and develop. We provide them with a proposal, and after a few weeks, we are informed that we did not get the job as another design firm won the bid.
