We decided to run an experiment, which we call the "Design Marathon.". We will choose three products out of all entries that will win, at no cost, a product spec and conceptual development offering from our design team.

We started by promoting and talking about this product submission competition on LinkedIn and other business-oriented social networks. To our surprise, we got the first inquiry about this program on the first day. It is too soon to talk about the success of this initiative. The fact that we launched it in December to help manufacturers who are planning for the first quarter of 2014 may not be in our best interest due to low activity and holiday vacations, but we felt this was the right way to go.

We will monitor activities and submissions to this program and will update this post accordingly.
